More Gain, Less Pain- Training with Kettlebells

Are you sure you're getting the most out of your Kettlebell Training program? Find out before wasting any more time!

If you're unfamiliar with kettlebell training, you should know that it's one of the most efficient ways you can work out!


Alternate Muscle Groups

Anybody who's familiar with weight training to build muscle knows that your muscles need rest times if they're too gain strength. To get amazing results from your program you shouldn't be exhausting your muscles!

Divide Up Your Program
Working out seven days a week is not a good idea for anyone. It actually goes against what you should be doing! Five to seven days of recovery are neccessary for people who are doing really serious strength training; thus, having a routine that works your muscle groupings individually is the best way to get them worked well.

This is a reasonable guidline to follow:
Monday: Chest (25 minutes)
Tuesday: Back (25 minutes)
Wednesday: Shoulders (25 minutes)
Thursday: Biceps, Triceps & Forearms (25 minutes)
Friday: Legs (25 minutes)

If you're doing something like a cardio workout that's less intense, it's okay to work the muscles more than one time per week.

You could do your chest and shoulder muscles on Mondays and Thursdays.Tuesdays and Fridays could be reserved for abs and legs. Wednesdays and Saturdays could be set aside for your back and biceps.Although you will get quicker results this way, it's also more intense- be sure to eat right and get plenty of sleep.It is also a good idea to adjust the weights which you are using from week to week, starting with the lower kettlebell weights and building up.
